Do you remember 1999? That was the year that Lance Armstrong won the Tour de France for the first time (he went on to win six more times). Brandi Chastain’s penalty kick won the World Cup for the U.S. Women’s Soccer Team. The most popular movies of the year were Star Wars Episode One: The Phantom Menace and The Sixth Sense.
