Sunlighten infrared saunas are pretty great all on their own but you can certainly augment your sauna experience with several of our sauna accessories.

A few of our favorites are available for purchase in our Sunlighten online store (or through your Sunlighten sales representative).

One of our most popular accessories is SO Sound Therapy. SO Sound™ combines the healing effects of sound and vibration to harmonize all systems of the body bringing you to a deeper state of relaxation.

Attached at specific locations in the sauna, the SO Sound™ system uses an amplified audio signal to resonate sound waves to the surface of the sauna. Listening to soothing music and feeling it resonate throughout the body stimulates the body’s natural relaxation response. It feels like light touch massage during your sauna session. SO Sound™ can be easily installed into any wooden Sunlighten sauna. (Add chromotherapy too for ultimate relaxation!)

The newest addition to our online store is a great line of Bamboo Carbon towels, which are exceptionally soft and luxurious. They are naturally anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and deodorizing. And they’re highly absorbent for water and sweat – perfect for a deep infrared sauna sweat!

Speaking of sweat, Sunlighten’s users are enjoying Pure Sweat Cream, using it to substantially improve circulation, energy, and sweating during workouts and sauna sessions. These effects help to bring the skin’s own natural nutrients to the surface while flushing out unwanted impurities.

Pure Sweat’s ingredients also include a variety of beneficial antioxidants and moisturizers such as Pomegranate, Acai, Coconut Oil, Kosher Jojoba Oil, Squalane Oil, and Vitamin E. It is available scented or unscented.

Another accessory to use during both workouts and sauna session is one of our biofeedback packages. Yes, we do get out of the office and the showroom from time to time! Last week, some ladies from the Sunlighten (and Sunlight Day Spa) team attended the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women Luncheon here in Overland Park.

Silent Auction and a sea of RED!

The luncheon is an annual event that we are very proud to support each year. As you may know, heart health is a particular passion for us here at Sunlighten. Sunlighten partners with the American Heart Association to help prevent this devastating disease. Contributions are made annually, including a portion of sales during February’s American Heart Month, auction donations for the Heart Ball, Go Red for Women Luncheon, AHA Food & Wine Festival and other critical fundraising events. Additionally, Connie and Aaron Zack, co-owners of Sunlighten, serve as Board Members on our local chapter.

Heart disease is still the No. 1 killer of women, causing 1 in 3 deaths each year. This means women just like you – mothers, sisters, friends – are dying at the rate of one per minute.

We always have a terrific time at the luncheon – there is a very cool silent auction with unique purses and bags stuffed with interesting goodies of all sorts; awesome speakers (always a few tears shed as we hear how families are affected by heart disease) and great friends.
